Do you enjoy reading and talking about books?  The library hosts two Monday book clubs, where members meet once a month to discuss a book chosen at the previous meeting.  Upcoming meeting dates are August 9th, September 13th and October 4th.  New members are always welcome! On Monday, August 9th, the Afternoon Book Club will discuss:

     Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson

After a failed attempt to climb K2, Greg Mortenson ended up in the
mountainous areas of Pakistan, in the Karakoram.  He soon discovered that it
takes three cops of tea to do business, or change the educational system—and
the society—of a country!

The Sea Captain's Wife 
by Beth Powning

Captain Nathaniel Bradstock had no intentions of taking his wife and baby
daughter to a dangerous life at sea, until he sees no other choice.
