    Mother Goose for Korean Parents and Children (poster)

    Are you a Korean parent with a child under age five?  Do you live in Coquitlam, Port Moody or Port Coquitlam?  If so, you and your child are invited to share in the fun of learning nursery rhymes, songs and stories in Korean and English.  This program is free of charge. Healthy snacks will be provided.  For more information, or to register, please email Eunju Kim at Eunju.kim@success.bc.ca.     The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program in Cantonese (poster)

    This program is offered to Cantonese-speaking families with children 18 months to 3 years old. The Mother Goose Program provides magical mornings of songs, fingerplays, bounces and tickles. The program uses no books, nametags, toys, puppets or music—just parents and children learning through repetition, songs, rhymes and stories in a comfortable environment. It’s free of charge and free childminding is available for siblings. A snack is also provided for you and your child.Registration is required. Learn the basics of the Internet and be surfing in no time!     You must already know how to scroll, click, and use the address bar to go to a website. You should also only take this class if you do not have an email account. In this class, we will all sign up for an account on Gmail, and you will also learn how to send, receive and reply to an email. Accounts are free and can be used anywhere you have access to the Internet.     For those who have taken the Beginner class or have sufficient experience. Registrants must be comfortable using the Internet, entering an address in the address bar, and scrolling up and down a page. In this class, you will learn how to get more relevant search results.     If you need to learn how to use a computer mouse, this is the class for you. We will go over the proper way to move the mouse, click, scroll, and more     using exercises designed to teach and improve these skills.
