Teen Advisory Council

Teens from middle school and high school are welcome to volunteer with the Teen Advisory Council. Meeting once per month at City Centre library, the council helps shape library programs, policies and collections for teens. In plain language, this means the group plans things for teens to do inside the library, and helps select stuff that teens would enjoy playing, watching, listening to or reading.

Teen Council members can volunteer for special events at the library, which means they can earn community service hours above and beyond the time they spend in meetings. Starting in October, the council usually meets on the third Monday of the month. But not always.

Please call Chris at 604-937-4140 for the date and time of the next meeting, or e-mail cmiller@library.coquitlam.bc.ca
